Moving Families in the Right Direction (MFRD) is a collaborative between Children's Aid Society and the Detroit Police Department (DPD). It's goal is to stabalize school attendance and improve academic achievement while reducing the incodence of youth crime and gang activity. By working closely with youth ages 10-17, parents, school personnel and the DPD, the program also provides stabilization services to the entire family while building strong community/family relationships.
