Fiduciary for: City Year Collaborative Proposal

The City Year Detroit and the Detroit Public School collaborative will tutor and mentor 7th – 12th grade students who are at extreme risk of dropping out of school. Our collaboration seeks to reduce the high drop-out rate of students. City Year will partner with Chadsey Middle High School to provide mentoring relationships, tutoring, community service, after school programming and service-learning experiences for students identified as highly at risk for dropping out of school. The unique campus at Chadsey Middle High School is conducive to preventing drop outs, as the students stay on the same campus through the normally risky transition from 8th to 9th grades.
