Healthy Start/Healthy Families Oakland provides home visitation services to at-risk families with infants and young children throughout Oakland County. The goal is to strengthen families, prevent child abuse and neglect, promote healthy child growth and development so that children enter school ready to learn. This projectl focues on the Hispanic community in Pontiac, providing comprehensive services to foster healthy pregnancies and births and help parents forge a healthy bond with their infant.
