JVS-Realizing Life’s Potential
Fiduciary for:
JVS will provide a continuum of school to work services, focused training activities, and employment services to youth and adults with disabilities. Proposed project activities such as assessment, job search training, job shadowing, job development and placement services, ongoing client support, and employer development and support services will lead to the attainment of gainful competitive employment.
JVS will improve access and navigation of services for at least 600 single men and women who are homeless through the provision of evidence based supports and services that reduce barriers to employment. The project utilizes partnerships that provide critically needed resources including housing, substance abuse treatment, access to mental health care, and Veteran specific services. United Way dollars leverage and assist in securing the federal HUD dollars ($955,695) for this program.
