Metro Legal Services (MLS) will improve the access and delivery of civil legal services to the target populations and underrepresented communities throughout Macomb, Oakland and Wayne Counties and the City of Detroit. These services include consultation and representation in such legal matters as housing eviction, domestic violence, income and public benefits, wills and probate, income tax, consumer, predatory lending, foreclosure rescue, prisoners' re-entry into their communities, divorce, child custody, employment, driver's license restoration, personal identification, criminal record expungement, and immigration matters. grants, in a holistic manner.
