Marygrove College Institute for Arts Infused Education believes the arts are transformative tools for engaging all learners. The Institute improves educational achievement, creates innovative models for teaching and learning, and promotes the systemic integration of the arts into K-12 core curriculum. This methodology creates learning communities in which students, artists, and teachers are agents of positive change.

Together with the College of Education, community cultural organizations, and school partners, the Institute proposes the delivery of 200 arts-infused activity hours in 5 schools that will keep approximately 300 students consistently reading at grade level and interested in staying in school.
