Readers Are Leaders will educate and enlighten mothers about developmental learning and education for their infant child. It is about helping moms feel comfortable in using everyday life to educate their children.
The Matrix Human Services (Matrix) unique Transition to Success program of wraparound supportive services, life and career coaching, case management, educational programming, and services to participants’ children, breaks the cycle of poverty and affords low-income women new opportunities to reach self-sufficiency. This program, in collaboration with Matrix women’s and children’s programming, assists participants to complete their education/training, obtain/maintain employment, acquire financial literacy skills, attain financial stability, engage in a supportive social network and make sound fiscal moves toward home ownership.
"Operating as Matrix Quality Care, RSS will implement an entrepreneurial, innovative private pay component providing in-home care and transportation to increase private funding and reduce dependence on public resources. MQC will market these services to clients with means to pay, and income earned through this program expansion will create a new funding stream to stabilize programs for low-income clients. RSS continues to promote physical/mental well-being and financial stability for vulnerable low-income seniors, extending their ability to live independently. Through UWSEM and other funders, we meet clients’ basic needs by proven case management interventions, providing food, transportation, and self-sufficiency supports."
