Oakland Family Services' Workforce Retention Project serves to help low wage, low skill individuals be successful in the workplace and the workplace be successful with them. Job Coaches provide "soft skills" training, coaching/advocacy and 24/7 hotline access to low skill workers. Managers and supervisors of low skill work groups are provided with skills-based training specifically targeted to the issues the target population present.
