The OLHSA South Basic Needs program is linked to Improved Delivery of Services and will change the way we do business by assisting clients to move toward self-sufficiency while assisting them with basic needs. The client comes in our door to get help for an immediate need: that is our window of opportunity. We will give that help and continue working with the client through case management to empower them toward more stability. OLHSA South will not just pay a utility bill when a client has a shut-off notice, we will send a referral to the Weatherization program for follow-up.
