This collaborative project will improve school readiness for children in the Pontiac area and the southeast quadrant of Oakland County by providing a variety of services including hospital/home visits to connect new parents with existing resources; Parent Child Home parent support and education services; a preschool expulsion prevention program; parent trainings for families with mildly to moderately delayed children; and child care program quality improvements. Not all children and families will receive the same services. Each family will receive services that they need and in which they wish to participate. Their cumulative impact will increase children’s school readiness.
